The Good and Bad

Yays:
  • After some confusion it is set that Amanda Finkelstein will be on Blind Date tonight! Check your local listings...it's probably on sometimes between 11pm and 1am on WB or UPN. There's a promo online at www.blinddatetv.com. Inside peek->click on mirror->daily promos->tuesday. She's the second date. Quality line: "Thank you for comparing me to excrement."
  • There was a really good sale at United Colors of Benetton for President's Day. I found myself a nice black skirt and some shirts to wear to work.
  • I exchanged the sweater my mom got me for this one. (Click on the other color.) I was surprised I was able to find anything at anthropologie that was plain enough for me.
  • There's another pot-luck at work tomorrow so I get to make brownies tonight and eat left over batter!
  • I bought my tickets to go home in June for Alisa's wedding for only $188. Mark your calenders...I'm invading from June 22-27.

Nays:

  • I cancelled my trip to Bucknell since Amanda wasn't on Monday night like we originally thought. Hence I don't get to watch it with BUCCers.
  • My benadryl fell between my bed and the wall. Then I tried to use this plastic thing I found in the kitchen drawer and I dropped that down there too. Then I tried to use a spatula, but this proved futile. Both are gone until we move.
  • I was reading the description of my personality type from the Myers-Briggs test (ISTJ) and here's what it said: "You often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold. Effusive expression of emotional warmth is not something you do without considerable energy loss." How do I have any friends?!?

thumbs down on the blind date website. I've got a VERY FAST university connection and it's still a dog. Slow, clunky, poor sound quality.

I hope your friend Amanda takes them for a large pile of moola!

How do you have any friends? It is only because, "You often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold." And also because, "Effusive expression of emotional warmth is not something you do without considerable energy loss." Your lack of emotion is what makes you so fun--and believe it or not, I really mean that.

Also, Blind Date was the happiest 10 minutes of my entire life. When I die, after you play "Another One Bites the Dust" at my fun-eral, please remind any fools who may be crying that my life was complete the moment I saw Amanda Lauren on Blind Date!!
